Last week, I mentioned that I was working in a wherehouse with a bunch of
old aircraft radio equipment. I got some responses but the owner doesn't
know what he has. This stuff is shelved and consists of things like VHF
tranceivers, ADF receivers, longwave radios and I think some linear
amplifiers. Didn't find anything with the name "Hammarlund", but I know they
made stuff for the military and aircraft industry. There are some things
made by Collins but I'm not sure what that equipment is. I've been asked to
inventory this stuff so we know what's there. I will do my best to catalouge
everything and post it . Nearly all of this stuff uses vacuum tubes and much
of it uses connectors that will be unfamilliar to some collectors. We can
post pictures. Note to Duane... Sorry if this is not appropriate for the
list. If the serial plates reveal something "Hammarlund" then the work will
be worth the trouble. I may ask list members for help in identifying some of
the equipment. I should have this done sometime next week. All things that
glow in the dark are welcome. 73's, KBN-8055
