[Hammarlund] Join Sunday HCI 20 Meter Net

Please join us on Sunday August 29th for the HCI 20 meter Net. Where we shall
cast out our tightly woven fabric of electrons in the hope of snaring vintage
rigs from those distant days when the vacuum tube was King and solid state was
still thought of as a form of matter.   	
	
The pre-Net will commence at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC). If you are in the area,
feel free to drift on by and chatter those relays extra early as I try to keep
my sky hook afixed to a cloud with coax sealant and duct tape.  	
	
The Net proper will begin at 1:15 PM EDT, (1715 UTC). You will know because
Frogzilla is doing his croaking exercises for the annual Stepping Stones
Waterfall Park end of Summer water Olympics. Strictly for children seventeen and
younger with a parade around the bike paths led by Frogzilla himself blowing on
a Bagpipe and pulling the free lemonade dispenser cart behind. How he found that
legal loop hole in the County Parks event guidelines the attorneys are still
debating over, but meanwhile the cups with the 3D likeness of his Frogship are a
quarter each! A swamp water web foot autograph is free and now and then he gives
some lucky child a ride often described by children not left speechless as like
riding a buckingTilt-A-Whirl with a slimy seat!   	
	
The frequency will be 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for Key clicks, mike splatter and the
formidable roar of my daughter's old hair dryer running on 220 VAC as it
vaporizes Mosquitoes drawn into the Ham Shack by the blood I donated while
shaving with my Gillette safety razor which removed a part of my left ear lobe
when I accidentally burped and sneezed at the same time! 	
	
I hope you will join us on Sunday and share some fun, facts, fibs and
fellowship. Brag about the great piece of vintage gear you about stole from that
poor guy at the last Ham Fest, and hope that he is not tune din! I hope to hear
