[Hammarlund] Remember Sunday HCI 20 Meter Net

All flavors and cents of vintage gear are always welcome - come early, play
late! 	
	
Please join us on Sunday August 8th for the Hallicrafters Collectors
International 20 meter Net. I will be on the air at 12:220 PM EDT, (1620 UTC),
warming up the gerbils for their weekly sprint on the little treadmill that
turns the gear box that cranks the generator that lights the finals that burn
holes in the ionosphere. Join me early if you happen to drift by and bring a
little high energy snack for the rodents.  	
	
The pre-Net will commence at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC).			
	
The Net proper will start at 1:15 PM EDT, (1715 UTC). 	
	
The frequency will be 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and a
short clip from the National Geographic channel featuring Parrots native to the
Canary Islands mimicking local Hams who spent too much time in the beer tent at
a local carnival doing Canary impressions! This to be followed by a very short
segment on properly aligning the cross hairs on your 10X scope for the 20 gauge
feather plucker shotgun!    		
	
I hope to hear a lot of you tomorrow above the static crashes, powerline
eminations, ping pong propagation and somebody somewhere yelling "CQ Contest!".
