[Hammarlund] Top 5 Receivers

No one mentioned the Comet-Pro. I've never seen one in person, (I have seen
photographs) but from what I've read it's proclaimed to have been a major
advancement in receiver technology at the time. Can it be called the very
first of what became Hammarlund's SP series? (The Super-Pro came shortly
after. The HQ series came several years later.) It would appear that we
folks today would find the Comet somewhat cumbersome to use. Anyone on the
list have a working Comet? How does it perform? Seems to be a very
interesting receiver.  73"s...Mike
