I agree with all. The 150 is one of those best kept secrets for AM
receivers. Great audio, no Hum and the first position of the xtal filter is
perfect for AM when the going gets tough... And, it has a useful
Q-multiplier for rejection tuning and xtal calibrator. What more could one
want....

I don't know, Duane. I've never heard much about them either. But a friend
brought a HQ-150 to me a while ago for repair. All it needed was a new HV
filter cap and it was good to go. I really liked it, had a nice crystal
filter
that worked really well. I told him to remember me if he ever wanted to
sell,
it was that good.
