Well my HQ 129 X finally arrived on friday. Out of the box I'm very =
impressed with it. It seems very sensitive and the audio is wonderful.
There are a few problems: the on/off switch is broken....it's always on =
and you have to unplug it to turn it off....annoying but an easy fix.  =
Two other problems have me a little puzzled. There seem to be near dead =
spots in tuning the main tuning. No dead spots using the bandspread, =
however there is partial  discoloration of the bandspread dial and a =
slight sticking of the dial  right where the discoloration begins.....it =
seems like I saw an ad for replacement dials a long time ago but I can't =
for the life of me find it now. Are these available anywhere? Any ideas =
on the semi dead spots on the main tuning dial? Thanks.
