Hi Gary,
    Take a look at The Hammarlund Historian website:
http://www.hammarlund.info
and go to the "service" section.  There you will see a very detailed
article by Ray Vasek, W2EC, on recapping the SP-600.  In it he covers what
types he used.  Hammarlund used all disc ceramics in the later SP-600's
(after abt s/n 17,500+-).  Earlier they had recommended using .01's in all
places where .01 & .022's were specified.
