As always, all flavors of vintage gear are always welcome -

Please join us on Sunday March 16th for the Hallicrafters Collectors
International 20 meter Net. The pre-Net will commence at 12:45 PM EST, (1745
UTC). The Net proper will begin at 1:15 PM EST, (1815 UTC). The frequency will
be 14.293 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the inspirational sound
of snowflakes sizzling and sputtering as they are being melted by sunlight and
the resultant water roaring and rumbling through my leaf clogged rain gutters
like gas from homemade bean soup looking for the exit sign! Spring ain't sprung,
and the grass ain't riz, but dem boids dey know where the juicy worms is! Yep,
right at the base of my Hustler 6BTV! And if I catch one of those feathered
Analid rustlers plucking at my wire radials in the sod, you can bet your triodes
that he will be in far worse condition than a feather pillow after a teenage
pillow fight! That bird will be in immediate need of the Hair Club For Men!

There will be a special announcement tomorrow about how you can qualify for an
award donated by W0BBC, Michael Chatfield, to be given away on Easter Sunday.
Tune in for details!

I hope to hear many of you tomorrow. So come early and stay late. I am normally
on the air whistling Dixie about 12:22 PM EST, (1722 UTC), getting the Gerbils
in their special padded harnesses and little running shoes so they can propel
the treadmill that turns the gearbox that turns the generator that powers the
station. And don't send me any animal cruelity mail about my previous comments
about using electric shocks from a modified stun gun to motivate their lazy
butts either! I used that on the functionally impaired Siamese Cat that used to
reside next door. Came up missing one weekend. Just broke my heart not to have
to go outside every morning and beat it off the top of my metal trash cans with
the electric broom. I wonder who the genius was that came up with transparent
'see through' garbage can lids anyhow? What but a disturbed Cat would want to
watch maggots at work anyhow?

Hope to hear you tomorrow! Carry on -
