As always, all flavors of vintage gear are always welcome -

Because of odd propagation, I have been starting the Wednesday HCI 20 meter
Global Glow roundtable at 6:30 PM EST, (2330 UTC). However, I am not convinced
this is helping those within 800 miles of my QTH to participate. Should we go
back to 7:00 PM EST, (0000 UTC)?

For tomorrow anyhow, we will stay with the 6:30 PM EST time for the pre-Net and
7:30 PM EST, (0030 UTC) time for the actual roundtable. The frequency will be
14.315 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the sound of those howling
north winds so generously sent our way from our friends in Canada. More snow,
bone chilling cold and huge icicles hanging from my rain gutters which are
starting to sag like certain human body parts when the owner passes age forty!

We have been discussing vintage audio equipment during the roundtable lately, so
if you have some, or had some, join us with your audio quips. Does anyone
remember the 80 rpm disks? What were they called, Pathay (sp)? I know they
contained some straw, wonder if there was anything else from the old barnyard in
them?

Hope to hear you tomorrow night. Warm up those things that still go glow in the
dark -
