Hi Barry, Phil, et al,
    Thanks for that note of encouragement.  I had an oscillator module in an
SP-600 that had the problem Phil's having, I took the quick way out &
swapped one out of another rcvr I had, figuring I'd get a round tuit someday
& find some proper dipped micas in the stash.  I guess I'll just get that
module & put it near a lite bulb, or on top of a rig, for a week or so.  No
hurry, that rcvr is a bit down in the project queue.  I'll try to remember
to let you know the results ;-)
