[Hammarlund] hammarlund speakers

Hi group. Haven't chimed in for a while. I've noticed a number of posts =
the last few weeks about folks wanting to buy or sell Hammarlund =
speakers. I have one (don't know what model it was for...It has a =
Radioshack 8 ohm/5 watt speaker in it and it's plugged into the =
headphone jack of my Knightkit Star Roamer at my bedside table. Sounds =
much better than the radio's internal speaker.) Anyway, since I don"t =
have any speakers for my HQ-180 or HQ-110C,   I listen to them through =
my hi-fi system. (Crown IC-150 pre-amp and Dennon 120 watt power-amp =
feeding a pair of Altec speakers {12 inch woofers].  The 180 sounds =
decent enough. The 110  is truly outstanding on  AM stations in the 40 =
and 15 meter bands. SSB is great too. For those of you who have a =
halfway decent hi-fi system and no external speaker, how many of you =
have tried this and what results did you get? I'm lucky that I have two =
separate aux inputs. The 180 goes into aux one and the 110 goes into aux =
two. Y-jacks split the audio between left and right channels. Well, I'm =
