[Hammarlund] Phenolic block, Where did it come from?

Hi, me again 8^).
I've been going through this SP600 with a fine tooth comb. So far I've
replaced 9 (I didn't see one earlier) BBoD's under the chassis. ALL IF
cans, T9 under the chassis etc all have disk caps (big grin). Now I'm
getting ready to pull and inspect/clean all the turret coil assemblies (yes,
I've marked them all where they go). I already know that I have 8 BBoD's in
8 of those assemblies which will be replaced. I figure that if I pull ALL
the coil assemblies at once that hopefully I'll be able to see into the RF
compartment to see what lies there, hopefully disks. This unit has a virgin
RF deck as I can tell the wires have never been unsoldered/resoldered.

QUESTION. I just found a phenolic block about 1 3/4 inches long by 7/16" by
1/4". It has a slit about half an inch from one end. I found this with my
foot in the brown carpet under the table where I'm working on the receiver.
I have no idea where it may have fallen from, or even if it's part of the
set?
