GM list. I'm trying to bring my 600 back to the best condition possible.
The ID tag on top of the RF Turrent has got a little corrosion and the
rivets are rusted. I can drill out the rivets and replace with screws but,
the tag has got a little corrosion on the non-painted areas that is slightly
green in color. The green means possibly chlorine from salt. Any ideas on
the best way to clean it?? Would WD40 attack the paint on the tag? How abt
Armorall?
Just wanted to ask. The power supply choke nearest the power transformer
runs a little warm to the touch. Its runs a little warmer than the power
xfmr. and the front choke. The filter cap.s check good. Is this normal or
should or is it wise just to replace just to replace the filter caps? I was
also thinking about connecting my amp meter into the load side of the P.S. -
what would be a reasonable milliamp load?
Thanks
