[Hammarlund] HQ-170A hardware question

Hiya and Happy New Year!

Well, I've just about finished restoring my "new" HQ-170A. This weekend, however, I removed the front panel to clean the dial mechanism, etc. and a couple of crescent-shaped washers (or spacers) fell out.  One is slightly smaller than the other.  I've reassembled the radio without them and all seems well, but I'd like to put these spacers back where they belong.  So, uh, where DO they belong??
