[Rodney Bunt]

An old trick that works on mechanical clocks is to use a hair dryer and heat up the mechanism,
soften the dried out oil and sludge, this gets the machanism moving then apply new oil. Saves a
lot of "tear down" time, and gets it going.

Works for me....
