I agree with the "oil change" repair with one exception-  when re-oiling
use a good grade of clock oil. It is not as temprature sensitive as other
oils and has a very low viscosity index.
Remember  as long as the motor runs it will keep correct time - if the
power line is keeping time with the master system here in USA tis    60
cycles     if it tries to run slow,, it will stop.
