I've wanted to ask this, and seeing how you touched on it....I won't feel as
stupid. Is there a 'chart' or something that can be downloaded to help me
with knowing pretty close what freq that I'm on?? That is the only 'bummer'
about it, but I can easily overlook it....lol. I'm not really interested in
adding a freq counter either.
Maybe as I get more familiar with it, it will become easier. :-)

I believe that the Byrd expedition to the Antarctic in 1939 carried Super
Pros and HQ-129Xs. It seems that the December 1939 QST had pictures of rack
after rack of these receivers. >>
Hmm, never heard of that (Byrd expedition). I'll do some checking on that.
