Hey Duane. :-)
My first post here.  I have joined the many Hammarlund owners with a ebay 
purchase of the HQ 129X.  I have got to say,  that I am in 'awe' of this 
receiver and the other Hammarlunds.  I really can't picture me buying any 
more solid state receivers after having the priviledge to sit behind the 
controls of a receiver like this.

It is coupled with the Heathkit Q Multiplier and I can't believe have I can 
really dig out and clean up a signal with this combination.  Do you ever have 
any nets on Sunday?  It is almost impossible for me to listen in during the 
times that I have read of your previous nets.

My next purchase will definitely be another Hammarlund,  I have my eye on the 
145C. ;-)  Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
