Do you really only need the slug? It's much easier to replace than the
whole xfmr, and probably easier to find. Try a slug from another (junker?)
xfmr, perhaps from a 455kc IF in an old BC radio, etc. Higher freq. slugs
are a different mix, but you should be able to find one that'll do the job.
I think AES sells, or at least used to, an assortment of slugs. You may
have to try more than one. I've done it that way in the past, not this
specific xfmr, but others. I don't have one to offer now, but maybe
somebody does.

I seek a BFO transformer (T-28) for an HQ-180A. Same part is used in HQ-170
series. If entire transformer is not available, I can use a replacement
hex-tuning-core for same. The core is missing.
