[Hammarlund] HQ-170 questions

Hi all,
I'm restoring a HQ-170, SN 1342, and it's been a lot of fun. Have run into a
problem and need some advise. I have a low sensitivity problem on 20,15 and
10. 80 and 40 works great, but the upper bands have very low sensitivity.

I've peaked all the RF stages. Have replaced all the tubes with known good
ones. Injected a signal at the first IF and got a good signal out. In
looking at the schematic that I down loaded from bama ( HQ-170 manual, issue
#2) I found  that R10 (off pin1 of the 6BE6 2nd Converter) was a 33K
resistor in my 170. The bama  schematic called for an 47K . Also R98 (a 160
ohm off pin2 of V3) was completely missing.  All the caps are either silver
mica or discs. 

I would appreciate any help or advice. If there is anyone that has a 170
that would be willing to look at theirs and see what they have, I'd  really
be grateful.
