Question for group.


Recently did a bunch of work on the above receiver.

Replaced RF Amp.
Had AVC problems.
Changed out of bunch of caps and resistors that were way out of =
tolerances.
Did IF/BFO/RF alignment.

Receiver works good, but seems subject to front end overload.  I have to =
turn the sensitivity down on local BC, when AVC is turned on.

Ant is conventional 75 meter dipole with one end connected to left "A" =
input, Shield connected to middle "A" input and also connect to ground =
connection.

I would appreciate any responses.
