which one is considered the all time best Hammarlund *receiver* made.
For some reason I have an affinity for Hammarlund. Maybe it's because it was
the first honest to god SW GC receiver I owned (which might also explain why
I'm partial to the HQ-180... I now have two of em). But I see the SP-600
seems to be a favorite as well. Or is there another 'sleeper' that doesn't
seem to get the respect it deserves.
Thoughts? Opinions?

I really like the HQ-150 and the excellent audio. But, the SP-600 gets my
vote for the best that Hammarlund built IMHO.
Never cared for the HQ-180 series..never had one that wasn't a drifter.
Of course, I might be biased...........:-)
