[Hammarlund] HQ-129X Knobs

When I purchased the HQ-129X I did not notice the knobs did not match those 
shown in boat anchor pictures. Instead of the typical pointer knobs, it has 
knobs (octagonal) like those on the SP-200. Now I find these more palatable 
than the pointer knobs but was curious if some HQ-129X came with these knobs 
because of teh war years or if this was a later substitution?
