[Hammarlund] Sunday HCI Net - Propagation Or Bust

Despite propagation forecasts as gloomy as those portfolio bottom lines for
those who were heavily invested in stocks, the HCI Sunday 20 meter Net shall be
held. Join us on July 28th and play the QSB lottery. It seems that old Sol is
having a few senior moments where he is belching x-rays out one end and firing
electron diarrhea out the other. Between the HF blackouts, sizzling sounds like
eggs frying on a George Forman grill and the S-Meter going up and down like
weekend gas prices at the corner station the band is as stable as Dynamite
breaking a sweat. Nonetheless, the pre-Net will commence at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645
UTC) when I fire a volley of left over eight ounce skyrockets into the clouds
stupid enough to be hanging low and light them up like a Laser light show. The
Net proper will begin at 1:15 PM EDT, (1715 UTC). The frequency will be 14.293
Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the sound of the solar wind
whistling the tune to that old southern gospel favorite "Turn Your Radio On". 	
	
It finally rained here in southeastern lower Michigan. You could hear the grass
singing, the birds chirping in glee as they bathed in mud puddles and the
Mosquitos breeding faster than rabbits on Viagra! These things are so big they
don't bite you, they carry you off and nibble on you later! The Hustler 6BTV got
watered and the ground plane is hotter than a belly button somebody dropped a
