I know what a mess this former HQ web site was in. Although the creator meant
well, somehow things got a lot out of hand. You could not find your way around
using a Guide Dog for the blind, I know, I tried! And being totally blind, that
is no insult to the blind either.

Al, Barry, Les and Andy did a wonderful job of cleaning it up, making it useable
and helpful to Hammarlund devotees. Now you may think this is no big deal, but
you are wrong. many web sites exiist, yea, too many! Some just exist, some are
decent, some are quite good and a few are extremely well done. The HCI web site
and the 'new' HQ web site fall into the fourth group. Making a site easy to use
and not confusing to follow, is no small or easy task. Those of you who use
these sites know, and I hope appreciate, the never ending hard work that goes
into them.

Make a contribution to them when you can. Whether it is a photo, original
article (we must be weary of trademark and copyright infringement), some
technical tips, some restoration procedures, some historical trivia or
educational stories and so forth. Perhaps not all of what is contributed can be
used, but the more that is contributed the better the content of the web site
will be. It is a never ending job to keep things fresh, the appearance easy on
the eye and to think ahead for future areas that one must plan ahead for at the
outset.

What they have accomplished is a web site to be very proud of. I personally
commend each one of them for their efforts over the past months and encourage
them for what will be needed in the future. I am proud of each one of them and
Frogzilla just might even come up with a HQ tale from the pond. You just never
know -
