Hello Fabio,

First of all, let me state that adjusting the BFO Injection on your SP-600 to 
receive ssb is a mistake.

The various manuals are not clear on the proper setting. Here is what I have 
done on the 18 that I have owned over the years. Tune to an am station, 
adjust the bfo injection for a clear tone so you can easily zero beat the 
frequency. Leave it there.  if one wants to receive ssb on a SP-600. use an 
external product detector or ssb convertor.
