[Hammarlund] SP-600 alignment

      Hello,
             still no reply to my help request...sob...sigh...
I can't believe that nobody here has some experience with this pot...

I have some problem to determine the correct setting of the BFO 
injection level (the pot on the rear of the chassis, right side); the 
manual is not useful.

The best setting for SSB reception causes a loss of sensitivity, and 
the S-meter moves on, even in absence of signal.

Any info or suggestion will be very appreciated.

I'm still in need for the main tuning knob, please, call me if you 
have one for sale , thanks again.
