Hi guys, as you can see by the subject header, I'm in need of a mains tranny
for this fine old beast, Purchased it a couple of years back, and have just
got round to getting it fired up, but alas, a hot smoking transformer is the
only spark of life at present !!  I have pulled all secondary taps out of
circuit, Ht & Lt so as to isolate any shorts further down the line, but the
problem still persists.  Looks as though the fault is a shorted winding
somewhere.

So far i have had no luck here in the UK in finding a direct replacement ,
so hopefully one of you may be able to supply, or at least inform me which
US dealership may hold stock of these.

I will cover all purchase & shipping costs etc prior to delivery by $ cash,
by recorded mail.
