Hi Dave,
    I use artist's acrylic, comes in a small bottle with a squirt type top.
It's abt the consistency of heavy ketchup.  I use a small rubber squeegee,
and the pressure does depend upon the depth of the engraving.  SP-600's are
inconsistent, and not deep enuf for easy application.  You need to
experiment a bit to develop the technique for applying & timing the wiping
off the excess.  It's water based.  I did a BC-779/SP-200 panel that had
nice deep engraving, went very quickly vs the SP-600.
    It helps on the shallow ones to use a pick to clean out any excess
primer & panel paint in the engraving b4 applying the fill.
