Loren,

I am not quite as far along as you but close. This is after about 4
months. Never
been to Dayton, maybe some day before it's to late. Mine is an SP-600-3.

I have an AN/URM-25F that I got on e-bay about 3 years for $60.00. If I
remember
correctly it covers the frequencies from 10KHz to 52 or 54MHz. The
AN/URM-25G is
likely the most popular. I have used it to align my R-390 and R-390A.
Works very
well. It is the signal generator listed in the manuals for these two
radios. This
signal generator is the one of choice for our purpose. That is without
going to
the more modern types at 4 or 5 times the cost. There are many people
out there
with a lot more experience than I who may have a different opinion.

Could not agree more. The guys out there are just fantastic with their
help and
experience.

Me to. Not just a touch but all the way there. At least according to the
Boss.
Good luck with the alignment and good listening.
