I received this from the powers that be. If you can possibly spare five dollars,
ten dollars or more, by all means PLEASE help the cause. The twin T1 lines cost
Al Waller two grand per month and the contract is for three years just to get
them. The recent system down was because of one of the hard drives for a server
failing. Remember, they run 24/7/52. In other words, constantly. They simply
wear out. While this started out as his hobby, and still is, it accidentally
became the greatest Ham radio, short-wave listener and radio hobbyist service on
the planet. A million hits on the system per day! Over 500 individual lists.
Over 400,000 individual subscribers to these lists.   	

Al has gone out of his way to keep them from becoming commercial with ad banners
all over the place, to protect the information of subscribers from would be
spammers and to keep this as a hobby, not as a business venture. We need to show
our appreciation, send the man some money and keep the hard drives turning. For
instance, there are tens of thousands of web sites Al pays for and you get for
free. For crying out loud, send the man ten dollars for your web site! There is
no where else you can get what he gives you for that price, or even close to it!

I don't want to hear any bitching, complaining or other pointless lip service.
If you enjoy these lists, if you appreciate the unequaled information they
provide, if you value the world wide collection of wisdom they offer, then write
the man a check and do it today! If we sit on our butts and take this as franted
the well will go dry and then we will all be losers.  	

I am thanking each one of you in advance for sending Al Waller what you can, if
it is only a dollar, it all adds up and it all helps. He has done a lot for us,
now it is our turn to help him keep this incomparable service operating. Don't
let him down. Thanks guys! 

QSL.NET is running out of funds for operation (bandwidth isn't free). Al 
says that we might make it another 2 months at best. If you have not 
contributed to help offset the cost of operation of this (and the almost 
600 other lists hosted here) recently, please consider doing so today.
