[Hamfest] March RARSfest News Update

The 38th RARSfest is less than 3 weeks away
Saturday April 3rd, 2010
NC State Fairgrounds Exposition Center
1025 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raleigh NC 27607
An all indoor facility with free parking.

We sold out of table space in 2008 and 2009.
We anticipate a bigger and better show  in 2010.
 
RARSfest is the 2010 ARRL NC State Convention.
 
Due to increased demand for space the VE sessions will be conducted across
the
street from the hamfest at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine.
 
Some Radio Manufacturers and Dealers expected to attend include:
ICOM America
KJI Radio Electronics
dBj Radio & Electronics
 
Forums will include D-Star, APRS, SKYWARN and ARRL.
 
The popular Youth Lounge will be back for 2010 with
special guest - ARRL Youth Editor Duncan MacLachlan, KU0DM.
 
Meet ARRL NC Roanoke Division officials W4PWF and N2ZZ.
Meet newly elected ARRL NC Section Manager Bill Morine, N2COP
and many of the NC Section organization.
 
As always, RARSfest will feature Contests, Door Prizes, 
Hands-On Construction projects and Activities, QSL Checking,
and don't forget the Free Welcome Dinner for Dealers and Vendors.
