Radio Station with the call sign EI0CRM -- you heard right -- C-R-M --
"crim" -- EI0CRM is being set up in of all places the radio museum of
the Cork City jail.
Cork City jail opened for business in 1824 and was used as a prison
until 1923. When Radio Erin was expanding in the mid 1920's, it was
located in this jail. Its call sign was 6CK.
The broadcasting studio is now fully restored and a fine display of
radio artifacts are on permanent display. Have a listen out for EI0CRM
