The International Shortwave League (ISWL), continue with their 60th ( Diamond )
Anniversary celebrations throughout the month of December.

December is the Final month of celebrations. We would like to thank everyone who
participated in our events throughout 2006, or had QSO's with the special event
callsigns. We have had a very successful year.

Our thanks also to all the DX Editors around the world, for carrying the news
for us. It is very much appreciated.


GB60SWL - Saturday 16th December - the Final Operation of this Callsign:

"GB60SWL" will be QRV for 1 day from "The Naze" at Walton on the Naze, in Essex.
Herbie G6XOU and the "Essex team" - will be the main operators.

December 2nd and 3rd:
"GB6SWL" will be QRV for 2 days from Tewkesbury, in Gloucestershire.
Walt - G3NYY will be the main operator.
The Station is being run by MX0ADJ - the Square Bashers Expedition Group.
(A Club Affiliated to the ISWL).

December 9th and 10th:
"GB6SWL" will be QRV for 2 days from Northampton, in Northamptonshire.
David - M0DUU will be the main operator.

December 16th and 17th:
"GB6SWL" will be QRV for 2 days from Braintree, in Essex.
Keith - M0CLO will be the main operator.

December 23rd, 24th and 25th:
"GB6SWL" will be QRV for 3 days from Bagulay, in Manchester.
Ron - G6BMY will be the main operator.

December 26h and 27th:
"GB6SWL" will be QRV for 2 days from St. Sampson, in Guernsey. (Channel
Islands).
Lionel - MU0GSY will be the main operator.

December 30th and 31st - the Final Operation of this Callsign:
"GB6SWL" will be QRV for 2 days from Walton on the Naze, in Essex.
Herbie - G6XOU will be the main operator.

The ISWL Club Callsigns - " GX4BJC /A " and " MX1SWL /A " will also be QRV
throughout  December.

Please note that /A suffixes have been re introduced in the UK.

The ISWL Awards Programme, is open to non members for a very small fee, to cover
postage to any country in the world.

With 1 month left of these celebrations, there is still time for members
