[Ham-Mac] FT-8 on ICOM 7700 using MacBook Pro

I am using a 2018 MacBook Pro to try FT-8 on an ICOM 7700 using WSJT-X<https://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/wsjtx.html> software and a Signalink Sound Card for the 7700

Unfortunately, I have not had any success with trying to transmit on FT-8.  It will receive and decode FT8 but when I try to transmit the program appears to be trying to transmit but it never keys the radio to transmit.

Does anyone have any experience using FT8 on an ICOM 7700 and a MacBook Pro (my only computer)?  If anyone has such a setup which works, I would be very interested to see what was done to accomplish this.

I would appreciate any assistance.
