You should install 4.0.6 if you are using fldigi / flmsg for EMCOMM data
transfers. The flmsg audio alert in 4.0.5 could not be disabled.
The documentation for 4.0.6 includes a description of the Autostart
capability.
The web site folder /alert_clips /(see above) contains an assortment of
audio wav files that are suitable for use with fldigi audio alerts.
OS X users: the disk image file, fldigi-4.0.6.dmg can be used only on OS
version 10.12.5 or later. The i386 dmg can be installed on any Intel
platform OS X including 10.12.5. The ppc dmg is for use on older G4 OS
X computers.
For all who build fldigi from source: the Portaudio library is now a
mandatory prerequisite to compile fldigi.
I do not expect to be issuing any program updates for several weeks as I
will be busy caring for my XYL who will be recovering from spine surgery.
