[Ham-Mac] WSJT-X V1.8 Problems

I looked forward to trying the new FT8 mode that was added to the WSJT-X suite but when I downloaded and installed V1.8 the pre-set frequencies disappeared and the “Reset” option in the Frequencies preference pane was gone as well.  Reverting to V1.7 I found the presets were missing as well but fortunately the preference reset function brought the frequency set back.

I tried this several times going back and forth between versions with no luck.  I’ve also had to force quit the app several times before it would function correctly.

I’m not the only one who has reported this or similar issues.  V1.7 was working FB since it was released.

I’m still running OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite on my early 2009 Mac Pro.  Is anyone else having this kind of issue?
