Just learned from a fellow remote operator that the same shift key
issue is present with Windows screen sharing.
How does one make an fldigi bug report?
========================================================
My guess based on reading some about Mac OS X event processing and
reviewing some of my Swing code is that the modifierflags field of the key
event is not being properly masked. There are device dependent bits which
may be set by the Screen Sharing Server that aren't present non-shared.
The presence of some device dependent bit not being masked out might
be confusing the event handler.
There really is no reason that Fldigi should be listening for modiferflags
events but…. who am I to question.
But I shoot from the hip a lot. When I hit the target, everybody thinks I
am a genius. When I miss, the call me a fool.
Peace

If you access your remote system via the internet than that is not a recommended solution. However, if your remote system is on the same local LAN (no internet) as your other computer, it could be something to try.
