Bob,

Thanks! At least the problem was not caused by cockpit error on my part. I am not sure how or who to report the issue?

Not only does flrig not show the Silabs port, it doesn't show up in the System Report under "About this Mac". I'm pretty sure that either a new driver is required or there is a flaw in the beta 10.12 which prevents it from seeing the driver/port.

When I first discovered the problem (could not get fldigi or flrig rig control to work with macOS 10.12), the first thing I suspected was Silicon Labs VCO Driver. I downloaded and installed a fresh version of the SiLabsUSBDriverDisk.dmg. The release note for the CP210X v4 does not mention macOS 10.12 but it installed okay.

This failure to find the SL driver is probably the reason I cannot get fldigi/flrig rig control to work under macOS 10.12. The SL's driver is recognized under OS X 10.11.
