[Ham-Mac] Icom IC-7100 and El Capitan

Has anyone had much success using the IC-7100 with El Capitan?  I have tried different apps and although the USB ports and Silicon Labs drivers show up in the various configuration screens, I cannot get some of the apps to actually display the frequency.  The only exception is flrig, used in conjunction with fldigi.  The other apps I have tried (MacLoggerDX, RumlogNG) were a bit stubborn when run under Yosemite, but they would generally work.

Other than reverting to Yosemite, are there any suggestions I might try?
