Tom,
Thanks for the response. It works fine in my iMac but does not work on my wife's MacBook Pro.
Heads up on the tip from Pete Golian KB3WTB where he said
"….Double check your fldigi settings under Configure -> UI -> Logging and see if "callsign tooltips in received text" is enabled. I found that is a different setting than the "Show tooltips" option that is in Configure -> UI -> General".
I have them both check on my iMac and plan to check my wife's MacBook Pro when she will let me touch it. Something tells me Pete's tip may explain why some of us are having trouble with the hover over call.
Let us know if Pete KB3WTB's tip helps

The normal fldigi tool tips work fine; however, I was not able to get a hover popup on incoming call. I was not hooked up to radio, but I typed a call and sent it to the Rx panel. The call was there and when I hovered over the call nothing happened. I tried it using the trackpad and the bluetooth Magic Mouse and neither worked. Nada on the hover call popup. I have not problems with the hover on my iMac so the issue seems to be unique to MacBooks, OS X version or operator error.

Sure would like to hear from someone using a MacBook with OS X 10.6 or OS X 10.7. Again, the tool tips work. The issue is only with the hover popup.

Their tool tips work but they cannot get the hover-over-a -Call Sign to work with Mac trackpad equipped laptops.
