Hi Chuck,
I created my ham-business website on Apple's iWeb. http://www.kf7p.com. It is hosted on GoDaddy servers. Take a look at the way it is organized and the things I have there, including photos, downloads, etc. iWeb is incredibly easy to use and very intuitive. It can do a lot of things, but it can't do everything. it is also quite buggy. I fight with it frequently when trying to align text lines and fonts seem to get sized incorrectly. Also it has some inherent problem in making its pages too big, particularly ones with photos. (I mean the file size is larger than it should be.)
Unfortunately iWeb is no longer supported by Apple so what you get is what you get, no future updates. At some point it will become so outdated as to become unusable. I am FAR too invested in my site at this point to try to change/rewrite it in another publishing application; however I know that in the not too distant future I am going to need to do this. So is iWeb horrible? Not necessarily. The more plain jane your design is, the better.
I am a little surprised that there aren't more web design apps for Macs, after all, they are supposed to be the graphics platform of choice, right? Seems like they should be dominating this market. I hope some private group buys iWeb from Apple and can take it over and keep it going, but I'm not holding my breath.
I considered hiring someone to create my ham site, but we both know that dealing with a third party to update small items frequently is beyond a hassle! My primary occupation also has a website which someone else created; getting it updated is next to impossible now. So last year I set out to build a new site, and settled on Freeway Express http://www.softpress.com/products/freeway-express.html It's not quite as easy to use as iWeb, but not a disaster like Rapidweaver. (ugh!) it seems like the more powerful the software is, the more complicated to use. There is a Freeway email list and lots of how to videos on their site. The writers are updating it all the time. I think I looked at Sandvox before, and it had some limitations as to what it could do, so I moved on and found Freeway. I need to take another look at Sandvox again.

PS I've enjoyed your rf choke information and the recent article in NCJ on the subject.
