Quick fix to the 3.21.57 fiasco which was supposed to fix the Escape key 
behavior if pressed right after starting the application.  It's 
partially fixed

  * Pressing ESC immediately after starting the application will cause
    it to shut down.  This is not a crash, but a program termination.
  * Mouse click anywhere (suggest Tx panel) on the main dialog and the
    ESC thereafter behaves as expected.


Behavior is different on the various OS platforms.  Y'all may have to 
live with this one for a while.
