Jav,

There are some technical issues with the integration of hamlib updates into fldigi. Change to RigCAT and see what happens. Hopefully, this will clear your issues. Be sure you download the FT-950.xml file as the rig backends are not integrated like in hamlib. RigCAT requires the correct .xml rig file.

Hamlib worked fine with my TS-570S but gave me fits when I changed to the TS-590S. If you check the fldigi-3.21.40 Help/Build Info you will see the latest hamlib library included is v1.2.12S. The "S" is special version with an updated backend for the the Kenwood TS-590S.  There have been several hamlib updates; however, it is my understanding that hamlib v1.2.12 is the last library that could be equally integrated across all platforms supported by fldigi. Dave, W1HKJ, has been working with Nate, N0NB, to resolve the integration issue. Supporting multiple platforms is nice but not easy.
