Lon (et al),

You and several others are correct.  I just got lazy using the Mail 5.2 menu bar reply icon. As pointed
out by Bob N7XY and others a better way in Mail is to select the sender's address and pick one of the right-click options. 

Some of us are creatures of habit and I need to get away from using the icons.
