[Ham-Mac] iCloud

Kevin N0IRW,

I have a friend that had the same concern and his workaround was to to dedicate an old hard drive in an external case with a bootable of the older OS and the old apps. When he needs to use the older apps, he boots to the external drive.

Upgrading to Lion was a good excuse for me to purge my HD of number of old apps that I have not used for years. None have been missed.

If you really use the old Office 2004, you need to find something newer for daily use. Open Office may be better and the price is right. Check eBay to see if someone is selling their Office 2008 that has to be an improvement over Office 2004.

The Lion does everything I need to do…..plus a lot of stuff I may never use.
