Yes it does work under OS X

Download the rex file.  Install it in the directory ~/.fldigi/scripts 
and then edit it making the following changes

Add new first line: #!/usr/bin/rexx
Change the string xdg-open to open

Change the permissions of the rex script to make it executable.  From a 
command line

cd
cd .fldigi/scripts
chmod a+x eqsl_fldigi.rex

Install rexx either from the dmg file or build from source.  Install  
Regina-rexx from regina-rex.sourceforge.net

Enter the following for the macro script

<EXEC>/Users/uname/.fldigi/scripts/eqsl_fldigi.rex <FREQ> <CALL> <MODE> 
<IZDT> <RST></EXEC>

Name the macro "eQSL"

This works on both my mini-mac G4 (10.4.11) and my Intel mini-mac (10.6.8).
