If its only audio you are thinking about (I assume that you have a CIV
interface already for the CAT control) then I can recommend the Griffin
iMic which plugs into a USB port on the mac and then provides Lin/mic input
and line output. They are perfectly adequate for digital mode use - I use
one on my mac mini and MacBook. With the IC735 you will additionally need
some isolation of the audio lines. I have used old miniature audio 300 ohm
transformers for this.
Of course you could go and spend some money and get it all in one box, rig
blaster is a make that comes to mind and you can get one that includes CAT,
sound card and the necessary isolation. I expect you can also buy a
pre-wired cable too if you want.
