[Ham-Mac] Setting up FT-817 & MacBook Air

I've got an original 817 (the first model that came out) and an Air, plus a
SignaLink USB. I'd like to get the Air and the 817 hooked up to do digital
comms. I believe I have all the hardware, and I've got fldigi on the Air.
How do I get the Air and the 817 talking? Any overviews available on the
Web? Most of the stuff I'm finding is for Windows.
