[Ham-Mac] OT: 12v adapter for Macbook

Apologies for the off-topic posting, but with an eye on summer holidays, I
would like to have a way of recharging the Macbook on the go from a car 12V
supply.  Ebay has quite a collection, but having wrecked a PDA some years
ago with a cheap supply I'm not about to repeat my mistake.  It is strange
that Apple does not itself sell such an item, but is there anyone here who
has bought a Macbook 12V charger and is happy with it?   Mine's the ordinary
basic Macbook with the magsafe connector, about two years old.

I don't really want to go down the route of a car 230V AC inverter, although
I have one.  It seems daft to transform to mains voltages only to come down
again.
